|Senior/Staff Accountant: Rev Rec...Not Your Average Accounting Role|
Join the technical accounting team as a revenue recognition accountant at one of San Diego’s fastest growing publicly traded technology companies. In this technical revenue accounting role, you will interface with divisional controllers, along with corporate accounting, finance, sales and legal to ensure that revenue is recognized appropriately. You will be the revenue and technical accounting guru and review customer contracts while researching new revenue recognition (ASC 606) pronouncements and other related technical accounting issues. As the Revenue Accountant, you will also be a key player in documenting and streamlining processes and helping this growing company accurately account for its complex revenue streams. The Revenue Accountant should have a CPA, at least three to four years of public accounting experience (preferably in Big4) along with a strong background in GAAP, multiple-element revenue recognition arrangements including deferred revenue. Strong communication skills and an ability to interact with different teams and work cross-functionally are a must.
