Billing Analyst

Proven Recruiting is looking for an experienced Billing Analyst who thrives in a fast paced environment.  As a Billing Analyst for one of San Diego’s premiere organizations you will be responsible for a high volume of complex invoicing for a rapidly growing energy program.  Advanced Excel skills are required including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Validate and Invoice Usage Volumes for Customers. (45%)

  • Review customer records in billing database to ensure billing parameters are set up accurately
  • Correspond Daily with internal departments to ensure the usage volumes for CCA customers has been uploaded
  • Promptly invoice the Customers to ensure charges are sent to the local utility in a timely manner
 
Customer Service Communication and Call Center Support (45%)
  • Respond to all action item emails within 30 minutes; maintaining effective working external and internal relationships
  • Provide a high level of customer service using strong written and verbal communication when communicating
  • Promptly respond to elevated customer and billing inquiries
  • Correspond daily with the local utility to resolve customer inquiries
  • Stay informed and communicate all program changes to pertinent internal and external parties
  • Provide training to new and developing employees
  • Routinely update procedures, training materials, and call center scripts
 
Organizational Understanding (5%)
  • Be proficient in understanding and articulating the nuances of the various CCA Programs
  • Provide constructive feedback regarding current processes
  • Practice high ethical standards; be accountable for such things as time, communication, statistics, organizational understanding and business knowledge
 
Business Knowledge (5%)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and maintain flexibility to adapt well to change
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other organizations in the company, the Call Center, and PG&E
  • Gain an understanding of how the tasks at hand have a broader impact to the business

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required
